Not only are they quick and convenient, but protein shakes are also extremely versatile and can be used to fit whatever your needs are, whether it’s as a quick breakfast alternative, a post-workout snack, meal replacement, or just for those times when a sweet craving hits.

While a scoop of whey protein mixed with water or milk will do the trick when you’re on the go, there are times when you may want to get a little creative and add some fun and flavor to your shakes. If you’ve been looking for some simple ways to spice up your shakes, look no further!

Whether it’s the addition of greens and fruits to get in some fiber and antioxidants, a spoonful of peanut butter for those healthy fats, or a bit of sugar-free pudding mix for a thick and creamy “milkshake”, these delicious and healthy protein shake recipes will not disappoint.

Peanut Butter Milkshake

Peanut butter “milkshake”:

  • A few ice cubes
  • ½ cup milk or almond milk

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 tbsp. natural peanut butter or PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
Tropical Green Smoothie

Tropical green smoothie:

  • ½ cup pineapple chunks

  • 2 tbsp. orange Gatorade powder

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

Peanut butter protein shake:

  • Few ice cubes
  • ½–1 cup almond milk

Butterfinger

Butterscotch protein shake:

  • Ice cubes
  • ½–1 cup almond milk

  • 1 tbsp. sugar-free, fat-free butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1 tbsp. natural peanut butter or PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
Blueberry Muffin

Blueberry muffin protein shake:

  • ½–1 cup milk or almond milk
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream PLATINUM 100% ISO-WHEY
  • ¼ cup oats
  • ½ banana
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon.
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
