BIO

Team MuscleTech® strength and conditioning coach Marc Megna, CSCS, has parlayed his experience in professional football into a prominent career as the foremost performance coach in Miami Beach, Florida. Drafted in 1999 to the NFL’s New York Jets, Marc would eventually play for such coaching legends as Bill Parcels, Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll, and Dick Lebeau. Culminating with a very successful CFL career, Marc continued his passion for elite athletics, earning his CSCS designation from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Powered by his “Dream Big, Never Quit” motto, Marc’s success as a trainer has gained him world-wide recognition, having been prominently featured in and contributing to Muscle & Fitness, Men’s Fitness, and Bodybuilding.com.

Training Nutrition (Low carb day)
Kettlebell Swings:
3 sets, 15 reps
Meal 1
- 1/3 cup coconut water
- 1 serving PHASE8™ 1/2 cup mixed berries
- 1 handful spinach
- kale
Hang Cleans:
6 sets – 2x8, 2x6, 2x3 reps
Meal 2
- 4 oz. chicken breast with garlic and ginger
- 1 cup brown rice or quinoa
- 2 cups steamed kale, collards
Squats:
8 sets – 2x12, 2x10, 2x8, 2x6 reps
Meal 3
- 4 oz. baked wild Alaskan salmon or trout with dill
- 1 cup sweet potato
- 1 cup broccoli
Sumo Deadlifts:
6 sets – 10, 8, 6, 6, 2, 4 reps
Meal 4
- 4 oz. chicken breast with garlic and ginger
- 1 cup mixed green salad with cucumbers
Reverse Lunges:
4 sets, 10 reps
Meal 5
- 6 oz. game or steak
- 1 cup steamed broccoli and asparagus
Straight-Legged Deadlifts:
4 sets – 2x12, 2x10 reps (superset)
Meal 6
- 2 cup lentils (sprouted)
- 2 cup steamed kale/bok choy
Lying Leg Curl :
4 sets – 2x12, 2x10 reps
Meal 7
- 1 cup water
